YENAGOA — The Police in BayelsaState have declared six persons, all staff of the Federal Polytechnic, Ekeowe, in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, wanted in connection with the murder of one Moses Frank who used to work at the institution.
The slain Moses Frank, a father of two, was aged 37.
He was shot dead on November 8, 2013 some distance away from his home at the Agudama suburb of Yenagoa the state capital after seeing off his a visitor.
The late Frank, an indigene of Okiki in Ogbia Local Government Area was until his death the Financial Secretary of the Senior Staff Association of Nigeria Polytechnics (SSANIP) of the institution.
Those declared wanted by the police in connection with the murder are Messrs. Kuro Orubie, Oviemuno Olomu, Nicholas Akpolco, Diepreye Walson, Godday Obiyai and Godday Ogoro.
The police in a statement signed by DSP Alex Akhigbe, the command public relations officer said: “The suspects, all indigenes of BayelsaState and staff of the Federal Polytechnic Ekowe, have been declared wanted by the Bayelsa Police Command in connection with the murder of one Moses Frank, November 8, 2013.
“The suspects, if seen, should be apprehended and handed over to the nearest police station or come directly to the office of the Commissioner of Police.”
