THE Federal Government has declared Wednesday, 25th December and Thursday, 26th December as public holidays to commemorate the Christmas and Boxing Day celebrations.
Also, Wednesday, January 1, 2014 has been declared as public holiday to mark the New Year.
Minister of Interior, Comrade Abba Moro, made the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government in a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs Fatima Bamidele.
Moro, in the statement, enjoined all Christian faithful and Nigerians in general to extend the spiritual benefits of Christmas which is love, joy, peace and kindness to their daily living.
