VANGUARD — We are in the first month of 2014. This is the time of the year when budgets, programmes, policies and democracy dividends should be high on any government agenda. Plans for the year are made public and the machinery to achieving them are put in gear. But this is not what Nigerians are witnessing.
On the contrary, the media is awash with one crisis or the other, a carryover of issues that plagued 2013 and scaled through to the new year… attacks from Boko Haram, the tussle to remove PDP chairman Bamanga Tukur, fallout from Obasanjo open letters, the controversial missing $49.8billion, 2015 election, to mention but a few.
While, unemployment, poor power supply; roads , insecurity, healthcare continue to crave for government’s attention.
What really should Jonathan focus on in 2014?
Do have your say.
