David Mark, the Senate President, lost his younger sister Mrs. Mary Onma Adakole on Wednesday
She was aged 35, died in Abuja after a child birth.
In a statement issued by the Special Adviser, (Media) to the Senate President, Kola Ologbondiyan, said late Mrs. Adakole will be buried in her home town, Otukpo, Benue State, on Friday.
It said that Igoche Mark described his late sister as “a straight forward, hardworking and benevolent with plenty of vision and hope for a greater tomorrow.
According to the statement, Igoche described the death as “a huge loss to the family.”
It said that Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, Senate Leader, Victor Ndoma-Egba , his Deputy Abdul Ningi, Senators Ifeanyi Okowa, Suleiman Adokwe, James Manager and Ayogu Eze were among early callers to commiserate with the Senate President at his Apo residence.
