
Alhaji Falalu Bello’s son, Abubakar Sadiq Falalu Bello,21, is dead.
Falalu Bello is the group chairman, MBS Holdings.
The late Abubakar Bello died last Friday in Nozha hospital, Egypt, after a brief illness.
Until his death, he was a Level 3 student of Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Studies where he was studying Logistics.
The eldest son of the business mogul, Bello Falalu Bello, who spoke on behalf of the family, described his late younger brother was a humble and kind-hearted person who loved everybody.
“My younger brother’s death came to us as a shock, because he was just sick for less than a day. We have however taken solace in God. We will miss him a lot; he is so kind hearted, very respective and God fearing. He is someone with whom there is no dull moment. May his soul rest in peace,” he said.
On his part, the uncle to the deceased, Alhaji Misbahu Bello Sani, who is the managing director of MBS Merchant Ltd, described his late nephew as a very obedient and hard-working person, and prayed for the repose of his soul.
Late Abubakar Bello’s body was flown back to Nigeria via the Aminu Kano International Airport and was buried in Kaduna yesterday according to Islamic rites.
Early callers who condoled with the father of the deceased and family at their Rigachukun family house include former head of state General Ibrahim Babangida, minister for defence General Aliyu Gusau, former minister of police affairs Adamu Maina Waziri, former minister of agriculture Adamu Bello, former federal permanent secretary Numan Dambata, Kaduna State Governor Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, legislators and other personalities.
Meanwhile, the third day prayers will be held today at the Bello family house in Kaduna.
