Former Education Minister and a co-founder of the #BringBackOurGirls group, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili has chided President Goodluck Jonathan, over his swift order that the offensive #BringBackJonathan signs be removed. The former Minister has termed the president’s action as ”deceitful and callous”.
She stated that the President cannot claim ignorance of the hashtag that was allegedly initiated by his aide, Dr. Doyin Okupe. She justified her claims by posting some of the earlier tweets of Dr. Okupe.
DailyPost recalls that the president, on Wednesday morning ordered the removal of the signs and banners, terming them as offensive and repugnant, saying he was not in the know about his supporters’ action.
